Testimonials

"'We would never have believed how quickly the changes in Bernie could be so apparent so soon. Even when you were here and worked with him, we could already see the changes. 3 weeks on and he is a different dog. We wish we had found you sooner!"
Carolyn & Brian

”It has been a huge learning curve for us, we thought we were experienced dog people.
We are so grateful to you for coming back and going through the walk again, it really helped. We have such a nice dog now, very proud. You are our doggie angel.”

Carolyn & Brian called me about the problems they were having with Bernie, their Bernese Mountain Dog. He was pulling them down the road, barking and lunging out at other dogs. He barked constantly and ran around the house jumping over chairs, tables etc. Carolyn was expecting their first baby and was desperate to calm things down before the baby arrived. Bernie was 2 years old and as badly behaved as at 6 months.

"Jackie, we would never have believed how quickly the changes in Bernie could be so apparent so soon. Even when you were here and worked with him, we could already see the changes. 3 weeks on and he is a different dog. We went out for our first walk yesterday and he walked at our side, with no pulling, we met dogs and we did as you advised, stayed calm and walk off in opposite direction. He just followed without a care in the world. We can see such a difference in the house and no more charging around. He actually seems happy and relaxed. We wish we had found you sooner."

"We tell everyone with a dog about you….Thank you, thank you!"

Amy & Mark met Carolyn in the park walking Bernie, she was at 8 months pregnant walking him on lead, completely under control. At the time they were being dragged from tree to tree by their the 6 month old Lab, Ants. Carolyn kindly recommended me to them, they were very grateful and called me that day. Ants was in total control of them, they loved him so much they had made him believe that he was their total alpha. He was allowed to make all the decisions. He slept when he wanted, ate what and when he wanted, growled at them for trying to remove him from the sofa. Chewed the house apart when they left him and many more problems with him.

"Ants is now a joy to live with, so calm. It has been a huge learning curve for us, we thought we were experienced dog people. We are so grateful to you for coming back and going through the walk again, it really helped. We have such a nice dog now, very proud. You are our doggie angel."

First sobs and then…” please help us, our German Shepherd will not let us back into the house. He has pushed the latch down and we cant get in. He is barking at us as though he does not know us” I asked for more details and it turns out that this elderly couple had rescued him 2 days ago, they were told by the rescue centre that he barked a lot and did appear strange at times. I spoke to the couple for 2 hours and went through over the phone with them the best way to get in and how to deal with the dog at that point until I had the chance to visit them the next day. We went through all the points of Amichien Bonding and gave them a clear understanding of why he behaved in the way he did. I worked with the rescue society to get more background from them on Reggie. I have worked for many weeks with this couple as I give special assistance and arrangements to rescue dogs.

"Jackie …Thank you for helping us so much and the knowledge that you will always be there for us is so comforting. It is amazing to see a dog turn into such a sweet, calm dog in a space of 6 weeks. We love him so much and now thanks to you, we do not have to part with him."

Floyd Dog Listener and Training"Jackie has helped us with Floyd - a 2 year old rescue dog of mixed pedigree including German Shepherd, Pointer and Hound. We read Jan Fennel's book shortly after acquiring him and tried to follow the guidelines without much success so we called Jackie in. She immediately highlighted where we were going wrong. We had been giving him too much love to overcome his nervousness and this had enhanced his separation anxiety. Having taken him away on several trips in our motorhome he regressed with his separation anxiety. So we called her back in early December and she again hit the nail on the head in that he was still the alpha male with Jane as she was giving him too much love when he wanted rather than when she decided. His behaviour immediately started to improve. His separation anxiety has improved and some of the time he is less boisterous with other dogs but we are making slow progress with the pulling on the lead."

"Just wanted to say how great it is to have Poppy, Amy and Pudsey, sitting in the living room again, calmly at our feet with no fighting, a joy to have them all together again. We truly thought we would never be able to let them live together after the fights. They are calm, happy and totally bonded with us…fantastic!"

"How did we live with our dogs before you came along Jackie. We had resorted to walking our dogs at 5am in the dark with a torch. They were so aggressive towards other dogs we were too afraid to walk at any time when we might meet someone. You have completely changed our lives...many thanks."

"We had taken Dylan training and thrown hundreds of pound away, only to see no changes. We found you quite by chance after looking on the Jan Fennell web site.
We wanted to work with him in a kind, non confrontational way. This was just what Jan recommended. This has been a total revelation to us. Well worth the money."
